I enjoyed this final project for e9. We were given a lot of freedom as to what we could do with our product and brand, and were able to create excellent final products for our company, such as an official logo, website, animation of our product, ads and coupons, and a commercial. For this project, I created the logo for PRIME, the commercial, the Showroom Animation, and was the main designer of the website. Now, I'll showcase each section of our final product, starting with Graphic Design.

The official logo of PRIME. |
In the Graphic Design rotation (our first rotation of the project), the Team completed the official logo, created a coupon for our product, and designed an advertisement. Out of four different logos, mine was chosen to be our official logo. I went to work, quickly making some minor improvements to the logo, such as evenly spacing out the letters. I then turned the globe into a watch face, and added two gray sections to represent the band of the watch. The first preliminary design is shown below.

The first design included a large globe on the left side of the logo, but I later changed it into a watch face. |
There were a few disputes during this rotation in our group. However, we were able to meet our deadlines and create all of the necessary components for our Graphic Design portion of our project.
Video
The official PRIME Commercial.
Our final product from the video rotation was, in my opinion, very successful. We worked together as a group to storyboard and film our commercial, and then, after some fierce debate between group members, we chose my commercial as our official one. I was very satisfied with my video, and I felt it reflected the product's many uses and was very successful in connecting the audience with Rachel's life-changing story. The final version of our commercial included some minor changes from the original, including some sound fixes and the addition of our logo at the end.

Animation
The animation rotation was difficult for us to complete. We all were responsible for different parts of the animation, and my job was to create the final animation, using the components the others had created. In addition to that, I also created a showroom to create a nice background to showcase our product in. One of our team members was assigned to create the typography for our
animation, and he did, but he created it completely out of scale from the rest
of the components, and I eventually had to scrap it and create my own. This caused some conflict within our group, and it forced me to spend extra time creating my own typography. In the end, though, my hard work paid off, and I was able to create the official Showroom Animation to showcase the PRIME Watch.

Web Design
We used our website to go into greater detail about the PRIME Watch and our company. The site includes many components from our previous rotations, such as the logo, ad, coupon, animation, and commercial, to help our customers understand what the PRIME Watch is all about. I was the main designer of the website, creating the layout, color scheme, and adding content in to the different pages. The color scheme followed the colors in our logo, and gave the site a nice look. Here is a quick look of the five different pages.Overall, I was pretty satisfied with our PRIME website, and I felt it did a great job of showcasing our product during our team's presentation.
Reflection
Looking back, I am happy with what I was able to contribute to the project. Not only was I able to create many of the different components needed for the presentation, I also played a big part in presenting our product. I asked questions and tried to get the audience involved and connected with our presentation. Although I am not always a good public speaker, I felt I did a great job during this one.
